The Emperor stirkes back

Its been a crazy few months but im finally actually back on track. I said in a previous blog about how i was going to have to get a job and all sorts but fortunately for me i didn't have to. I did but 1 week was enough for me.

3 weeks ago i found out that at the empire casino, every 20 pound rebuy tournament earns you points for the satellite for the world series seat in September. You basically earn 1 point for entering and on the final table you get an extra point for each step up. So you get 1 extra for coming 9th then 2 for 8th and so on.Then the top 18 ranking get play the satellite at the end of the month.

In the last week of last month i final tabled every day and cashed 1st to 4th. This got me 2nd on the ranking and so i qualified for the satellite.

following that week for 2 more weeks accept for 3 days i have cashed every single time and have earned the name The emperor lol.

Unlucky for me 1 of the 3 times i didn't cash was yesterday i don't know what i did to upset my luck but it just wasn't my day at all. I wish it wasn't yesterday as last night i also was playing in the satellite for the seat in the world series. I had aces 4 times got cracked four times once with 10 5 off suit. queens vs jacks hits jack kings vs jacks hits jack ace king vs jack 10 hits a ten.... I could go on! It was upsetting but at the end of the day we all have days where our bad luck just cant be out played by skill.

But today i was determined to break the curse early and immediately.! keeping a positive mind and feeling fresh i played game and i got my rightful seat on the final table! I made 1 bad fold and that cost my chance of coming 2nd and i made a push and got called with slightly less bollox which hit and i came 3rd. But i was pleased.

So the emperor strikes back and im on the ranking 1st with a monster lead so ima get my ticket next month! lol

Got Work!

I haven't written f* all for ages! Sorry about that i just haven't really been up to much, well i have but nothing too exciting. I have only been playing small poker games so not much excitement. I decided i wanted to get work to build bank roll. Well i must of given out cv's to half the population of UK and i finally got an interview today.

The interview was ok, just like most situations I'm in i was the buffest in the room but unfortunately the interviewer was male. It was an explanation of what the job involved and stuff and at the end of it he did a brief group interview. I really thought i screwed it up! i basically got myself mentally ready to screw up. The whole time i was saying to myself please don't be the first to speak! Just like getting my aces cracked i was the first to talk and because i was hoping i wouldn't of, i got thrown a bit. I totally answered the Question wrong and started bumbling. But then i thought stop being a prick and picked up and started being myself and it was cool. Fortunately he took a liking to my cool side and gave me the job.

Other then that things have been pretty cushty i suppose. We finally jack potted the bishi bashi machine! wahaaaaay.

I've managed to eat everything i missed while i was in macau, now I've put on weight and screwed ma skin up lol. Well its not that bad but i have ....sigh..... now i miss the food and drinks in macau hahah It never ends!

Been working on some songs as well since i have had a lot of meditation on what i am doing , where i am , where am i heading and how am i going to get there. Deep stuff. Hoping i do well in this job so it'll help things a whole LOT! serious.

Anyway i feeel restless so I'm going to go find something to do

I went back yesterday for the 25 pound freeze out tournament and this time they managed to get 43 runners so the prize pool was pretty decent. I wanted to get first prize and i was so close to getting it.

I saw made in china again and we were all like yer see you on the final table but he got knocked out 2nd hand.He said it was because he couldn't concentrate as he was a designated dealer, but there wasn't really much thinking as it was an all in pre flop move he got knocked out with. To be fair he did have a hand pair of tens and got called by Ace king, you know how the story goes.

I Did ok, i knocked 7 people out so i got 35 pound in bounties and came 3rd. I'm not sure if what i did was a mistake but i asked a few people and they said it was correct. Ill give you more details about that and why you shouldn't let people see your cards in a minute.

In the beginning i was quite a big stack and had everyone under my control since they were all tighties, but then this crazy guy sat down. He had to put 300 in the pot for being late and called another 200, the pot was big with 2 others in there so i limped with 3h 4h. The flop was 10 s 5h and 6h. The first 2 checked and so i raised 1000 to take the pot there and then. The crazy guy who probably thought it was a re buy tourney called and the others folded. I figured he was a total donk so i wasn't worried. 9h came on the turn so i immediately pushed all in for his 1000 more which he snap called. The guy had Ah and 2c. I think it was because he wore a strong red t-shirt and had a lucky charm sitting on the table that gave him enough luck to hit his HEART giving him the nut flush. After that he was pushing and calling with king high on the turn card and hitting his high card. Fortunately he got knocked out before the blinds got to big and i became the bully once again.

On the final table i managed to knock 3 people out pretty quickly leaving the table with 6 people left. 5 people got paid and there was a small stack which had 2000 left and the blinds were 4000. This Small stack had the guy ill call Lloyd Mullaney behind it. He looked and sounded like him only difference being he had a shaved head. The guy got so lucky he kept wining all the all ins and got louder each time, it was so irritating. The last guy went out and 2 more followed pretty quickly leaving me big stack on the table with the other 2.

This is where i am not sure if i should have done what i did. I had over 60000 chips and i was small blind. The blinds were 4000 8000 and the dealer folded. The big blind was Lloyd Mullaney and he started playing tight, he still had 21000 on top and the other guy only had around 15000 and was big blind next so i pushed all in for the steal with queen 7 suited. To my surprise he snap called even though he always folded to me so i was thinking he had a monster. But in fact he had king 4 of suit. I realised he had looked at Rachel the whole time who was behind me. He picked up the fact she was looking at my cards when i had aces and she was saying 'why did you go all in pre flop, you should of just limped' She managed to see my cards and showed total weakness which he picked up on and obviously thought i had a lot worse. I wasn't in too bad a shape but nothing came on the board and he won with king high. I looked at Rachel to say don't look but she didn't understand and she looked again but this time it was a lot worse.

I was now dealer button and i was going to push with q2 suited. I didn't think Lloyd Mullaney will call me which he didn't as he just doubled up and thought its worth heads up with big blind who could have anything and id only lose about 15 if he won. As i was in motion going all in Rachel said 'don't do it' He snap called to no surprise with king 2 of suit and won again with king high. I cant say that he definitely would of folded but Lloyd Mullaney could have easily called as well making the odds worse. What rachel did without thinking was pretty silly,even though she didn't mean anything bad she was a big factor in me getting called both times. So don't let people see your cards! your not being mean your being clever. you may be able to hold a good poker face but your friend may not.

After all that i went all in with 5 6 of suit and hit 2 pairs but Lloyd Mullaney hit a bigger 2 pairs and i was out at third.

I question the play that i did when i was the dominant stack but i think i was right in doing it. The differences between 1st 2nd and 3rd prize was 100 each level so it was worth it for Lloyd Mullaney to fold. Next time id just make sure no one is looking at my cards!

Poker at the Empire

Rachel has already started one of her jobs so she was hard at work and urging me on to go out and look for work. I have honestly given out so many CV's online and in stores but i have had no reply from any of them. I don't see it as being unworthy because I'm far from it but i see it as destiny telling me I'm worth more. I looked destiny in the face and said 'look here i know im destined to be great and do great things but right now im in a pickle and i need to earn just a bit for now and pick up full speed after im in a comfortable position' I shit you not as soon as i had stopped talking to myself a flyer floated across my feet. As i picked it up i could here eye of the tiger playing from a phone ringing, It was information on the new tournament schedule at the empire casino. There was a 25 pound freeze out happening in 10 minutes and i was 5 minutes walk from the casino. As it just so happened i had 30 pounds on me i was going to use for a haircut and a bit of food. I thought about it and 5 pound of the buy in was going to go towards the bounty which is pretty nice so i started to make my way.

As i entered i felt at ease knowing this was where i belonged and not an office, but i realised if i was going to be on the cash tables across the room or enter the £250 tournaments id need to get a job to fund my bank roll or win a couple of the 20 pound rebuy tournaments. Anyway there was 23 runners so the pot was £460. Not too bad hopefully meant i could get in the money no problem even though 3 people got paid but i would aim for 1st or 2nd as 3rd would get £60 max.

As we all sat down with one person in the dealer seat my memories of having to shuffle ourselves all came rushing back to me. I have had the luxury in macau of having a dealer even for small tournaments. The reason it was so devastating was because i am terrible at shuffling. Yes i know i am trying to play poker pro and i cant shuffle, laugh it up. As soon as i started to attempt a shuffle the guy in the dealer seat requested if he could shuffle and deal the whole game to speed things up. Luckily for me or shall i say for them everyone agreed.

People in the early stages were going crazy, i assumed it was in attempt to take the bounty each time. One person called a pre flop raise of 350 when blinds were 25 50. We started of with 2500 chips so they had around that amount. the Flop was Ace d 7s 9s. The guy who raised pre flop pushes all in and the other guy ill call made in china ( as he always tried to act fake) snap calls. The guy who pushed had king 10 flush draw and made in china had king jack off suit lol. Made in china won and he kept saying well i was trying to bluff.

Any way i managed to make made in china fold when i needed him to even though he called everyone else and miraculously won every time like when he had ace 3 and called ace king all in pre flop and hit a 3. It was highly amusing.

I got lucky a few times but otherwise i was playing a good game and threw tells around which put me in control. For instance one hand a small stack went all in for 1200 when blinds were 150 300 and i could see 2 people between looked like they were itching to call. I wanted the bounty and i didn't want to go up against the other two with my pair of 3's so i simply fiddled with my chips and they folded. I was up against 7 10 and hit a set and won. Another time i lucked out was on the final table, i was on the button and i had 2nd largest stack and the largest stack was on the big blind for 1000. One person called in mid position with a fairly small stack and i wanted to get him all in with my pair of 10's. I pushed all in thinking everyone will fold with a chance to get the caller in but the Big stack snap called. I knew i was in big trouble but he gave no indication before that of having a big hand, as he didn't look at his cards before i made my move. Of course he shows aces but i caught a bit of luck and HIT a 10. The guy was pissssseeeeeedddd but he held it all in probably knowing i didn't really do anything wrong.

After that i was massive stack. I lost 2 all ins trying to get the small stack out who had no more then a big blind but it didn't really do much to my stack. The final table lasted ages and the other tournament was going to start, so after the 5th guy went out made in china who had the smallest stack asked to split four ways. It was quite an amusing game and i didn't think it was much of a difference so i agreed. I kinda regretted it though after realising it was a hundred less, but that was if i definitely took 1st place but in poker anything can happen.

I'm not going to write much about this but that night i went to the pub game for a 10 pound rebuy and i got taken out by super donks. I should have stayed away but i didn't! basically i had a flush on the turn, king high. The guy only had 700 in the pot but i knew he had a ace of spades so he needed one more spade so i pushed all in for 3600 more. He was the only donk with a little knowledge and said there is no value to call this but I CALL. And of course he hits a damn spade! I think I'm going to stay away from blackjack poker!

Happy St Pastricks day

Every weekend me, Rachel and Super geek Steven vu go to London for dim sum. We also usually get our money back on our secret machine which is code name Bishi Bashi. There is actually a game called bishi bashi so don't run off to one of those machines because its not that one. It's basically a gambling game we discovered which is skill based. It was our secret machine and before i went to macau we used to always jackpot it after dim sum. Unfortunately last Tuesday we lost 30 pounds on it but we thought it might be because it was a Tuesday. So today we went knowing strongly it should jackpot this time.

We were so eager this time we wanted to play before dim sum unlike the usual dim sum first then Bishi Bashi. We made our way to the machine all hyped up and ready to rumble but as we turned the corner we began to clench our teeth as a young couple had their dirty hands all over our machine. They were young and looked pretty stupid and had no skills compared to my tiger like reactions. We watched cursing them every time they bashed our bishi that we claimed way before they did. I began to relax because i realised i was right and they continuously made mistakes. They kept launching the money into the machine so i didn't worry so much. But to my amazement they actually completed the first round. It was quite a high prize but nothing really compared to what it would show if it was going to jackpot. The next round started and halfway through the timer they already made 2 mistakes, there should of been no way that they could of completed that round. To my amazement again ! they finished that round and i wanted to rip their heads off as the prize went halfway to the jackpot which showed it was going to definitely jackpot. Like the amateurs they were they collected.

I had hope as they left the machine but Steven asked them how they did and they said they actually go the jackpot 2 hours prior. This really twisted my balls up into a state but i remained calm and tried a few pounds in the machine. Of course there was no sign of it getting the jackpot again so we left.

We checked the poker room in empire as well for any tournaments but there wasn't any until 7.30 so we passed on that.

We noticed there was green all over London and after a little pondering we realised it was St Patricks day. We thought we'd get into the festive moment and get some funny hats and drink Guinness. I don't really drink beer at all but i did just because it was St Patricks day and everyone was doing it including 14 year old kids. We joined the festivities in Trafalgar square where they had a stage set up and tried joining in some dancing. We were completely lost Steven even managed to spill drink all over someone but luckily they were too drunk to care. He also had a fear of wearing his green on the bus or train like a little poom poom. He seriously made a really good leprechaun i think he should grow a beard dye it ginger and always wear a green hat. It would be epic.

We had some fun and took leave so we could try to set up a poker game at my house tonight. So far no luck because everyone seems to be on the lash.

Home sweet home

As tough as i try to make myself out to be, i am always going to be one of them boys with a soft spot for home. Now everything has been done to a level in macau i can come back home to sort things out down that end. I want to get high on refreshing air, feel the cold drips of rain trickle down my face as i run for shelter, ride the dirty transport and eat the food fit for royalty FISH AND CHIPS.

I should be back in macau hopefully pretty soon at least 100 k US richer since ill be back for the poker camp me, Mr Black and Jade will be doing but until then i am going to scrape for whatever i can get down here. I decided i will work as many jobs as i can down here to get some money together. I also plan to get some new songs done but i need to start networking down here again from scratch.

GOOD news though i found out i am free from my contract and i was actually free since July 2008. Reason why its such good news is because i thought i had another year on the contract because the thief wouldn't legally cut me off with intentions to give me trouble. The thief is Stevie eagle e. So i am free to work with who ever i want and do what ever i want. The guy is a joke he doesn't even know this. The lawyer who went over the contract actually asked if a primary school kid wrote it because it was so badly written.

Any way, the poker scene has improved in UK even more which is cool. They have a casino poker room now which is open 24 hours. They have tournaments EVERY day. I actually entered a 50 pound satellite which i won. It was for the festival main event which was a 1000 pound buy in. It would of been great to win it but an IDIOT who actually paid 1000 bust me on my first hand when i was dealt aces with 5 6!!!!!

This is how it went down. Bare in mind we had 15000 chips and blinds started at 25 50. I was under the gun so i didn't want to scare any one away so i raised to 150. I got 3 callers then the big blind raised to 1000 !!! i thought this guy must have pair 10's to kings or ace king so i tried my luck and raised it to 2000. The 3 folded and he called. The flop was 3 king 7 rainbow. I wanted to trap him hoping he didn't hit a set and checked. He bet 1000 i raised to 2000 and he called. The next card was an ace giving me a set, so i checked again as he looked eager to bet. He bet 1000 again so i raised to 2000 He re raises me another 2000 so i go all in and he turbo calls me. I expected to see either ace king or trip kings, he shows 5 6 off suit and i am happy but thinking what the hell is this guy doing. But you know how it goes....... a 4 comes straight down on the river giving he a straight. INSANE! i tried to keep calm since it was my first day back in 6 months and I'm basically a new face so i didn't want to make a scene. But you should of seen the faces of everyone on the table. Flabbergasted lol. Well ya win some you lose some!

The way i got my buy in though was my first game back at a pub game. My friend said they started hosting games on Thursdays and i should come down check it out. It was a 10 pound rebuy a real homey type of game. I thought id make a statement saying I'm back from Asia and I'm cooler so i wore my funky sunglasses. Steven being the upfront wan*er he is shouted in the middle of the street 'you look like a cock with them, cant believe you wore them in public,' so the only quick reply i had was 'well I'm a pro poker player and these are a strong asset'. At that moment i realised there would be pressure on me to win this game since i have been claiming i have gone pro since my bad experience in the music business. I thought if i lost this it would make me seem I'm a joke. Even though i could of lost a number of ways which would of just been bad old luck. I tried to keep in mind a chapter in one of Doyle's books about pride, that i didn't have to act like a cowboy to prove i am a great player and keep making big bluffs. I did make big bluffs but rarely which was when i found the right opportunity. Luckily i didn't lose and it was a good game. And my glasses did actually work phycologically but for me they almost cost me a lot of chips since i could hardly see anything as the pub had quite dark lighting.

So for now i will be doing 'real' work and entering as many tournaments as i can to keep me top notch.

What to do

Well the pokerstars lounge has been closed for almost 2 weeks now and so i haven't played any tournaments in that time either. Its been boring but i have still kept myself busy with other things.

I have been working on video intros and the Got Rice Website. I can upload one of the videos but the Website is far from complete.

Its been raining like I'm back in England these last 2 days which sucks so i haven't even been able to play some basketball either. Last weekend at fashion club i did some mc'ing which was cool. It was a nurse night and there were a lot of nurses! Ive never wanted a check up so bad in my life! lol. The people who party here are cool, they are fun and arnt stuck up and the guys don't come out just to pick a fight.

Man am i craving for some fish and chipssss.....

Been trying to get a photoshoot sorted out for the Got Rice crew stuff this weekend in hong kong. Its so long just to do a simple task. I just wish people wouldn't say they can do things if they cant will save a lot of time.

The popcorn in hong kong cinemas are so buff. I dunno what it is but its different and i don't usually like popcorn in cinemas. I feel like watching a film so i can buy the popcorn. I used to watch films in UK so often because I'm a film fanatic. Even if a film is rubbish, like the worst film evveerrr, if i have started to watch it i always have to finish it. I NEED to know what happens. Leaving in the middle is like stopping a guy just before hes about to POP. I would rather piss my pants then go to the toilet during the film in a cinema seriously!. I think the only time I've ever missed part of a film was when i was 15 or something, i cant remember exactly and i went to the cinema to watch castaway with my friends and i fell asleep. I had just done a lan party marathon which was a week of non stop gaming in an Internet cafe NO SLEEP. But to be fair i fell asleep during the trailers so i didn't even start the film. I probably would of stayed awake if i did.

Game Plan

well Its coming up to the end of February, time is flying at full speed and its CraZyYyY... Right now nothing is in full throttle, yet! but all the potential and growth is there. Unfortunately there isn't anything steady at the level i want it so i need to make plans. I have a return ticket for the end of march and i cant actually change it as its 6 months max so I'm thinking maybe popping back home for a number of reasons. And get a single ticket back. But before i do i need to get things done.

My main objective is to get everything done to a level for the Got Rice Crew stuff so we can push that. We need to get as much stuff done together while we are all still together. Pictures, videos e.t.c.

Also i have been working on different things like video intros for different projects and Mr Black may of got me a few video production jobs to bring in some money. So i have put stuff up on youtube like a portfolio. Check it out www.youtube.com/ooniqe.

If i end up going back for a bit I'm going to do what i know best and make money to come out again. I have a few solid plans so shouldn't be more then a couple of months, back in time for the macau cup.

Before we go we are entering the Macau cup well Me and Jade have to do the qualifiers but hopefully well get through, then win it!

Got Rice weekend madness

Well what can i say, not much didn't happen this weekend and it was full on madness. There was Death grips to nipple twists and the birth of the Got Rice most HATED hand!

It starts of with the 150 k guarantee yesterday which was Saturday. If you remember i mentioned it before, it was a 500 dollar rebuy tournament. There were about 92 runners and I sat on the table that felt like it was situated in the highest mountains of Alaska. The air con was on super cold and even though they apparently turned it down 3 times it was freezing out the whole table. i saw one guy order a cup of coffee and i ended up drinking about 9 cups to try to stay warm. I don't know if it was the cold air above our heads or the large amounts of coffee in our systems but people were doing the craziest things and lucking out. My aces were cracked by threes pre flop and i got a boat with 9's and the other guy had a boat with 10's on the turn. I had 9's another time and the flop was all 6 7 8 rainbow giving me an over pair and an open ended straight. I went all in and the other guy had 10's and they held. Also this guy went all in pre flop with 6's 3 times and won 3 times and it was against kings then aces then both at the same time, incredible.

Well anyway after the rebuy period which was 2 hours!, I took total control of my table. I built up my stack to become big stack on my table, then we were moved out of the Himalayas. I was Pretty pleased with my stack but once i reached the table i was moved too i was gobsmacked. I thought my table was crazy during the rebuy period but it was nothing compared to the table i was moved to or even the ones surrounding it. The big stack was like 6 times my stack and i now felt pretty inferior. Lucky for me the big stack was actually playing the safe game so i got to take control. I doubled my stack to around 40 000 then some guy who was a super amazing donk started trying to fight back. I first started folding to his free betting then i began to get pretty annoyed. At the point where i really just wanted to take him down before he built his stack up i got kings. I raise, he of course re raises me so i push him all in for 20 something thousand. He tanks for a bit then he says hes committed after putting 5 000 in so he calls. he turns 7 9 and of course hits 2 pairs. I am Down and i lose a little bit more when he free bet me again. But then i doubled up off him when he called my all in pre flop i have ace king and he had king 7. But after that the donkey called my raise pre flop when i had queens. Calls my half pot bet on the flop and my all in on the turn. The board is all low 10 highest and no straight or flush. He has ace 7 high. HITS an ace on the river. So at on the last 2 tables i only have 8 thousand left when i push all in with ACE QUEEN. there is 16 people left and 10 get paid. The big stack pushes his stack all in over me. I read him to have a weak ace so i hoped to break the curse. Jade and Mr black both went out at 24th and 26th and they both went out with ace queen on two different hands. But then Johnny who should have turbo folded after the big stack pushed all in said he was thinking. I was like what do you have to think about? Then he said i know I'm losing to you but i think i can win a side pot with the big stack. If this would of happened its means he risked his WHOLE Stack with 6 people left to go out, to break even after this hand. He decides to call. EEE ORRR he has ace jack!!! the big stack has ace 9. I'm ahead but then the flop gives him a jack, then i get a Queen BUT OF COURSE he gets his trip jacks!. What can you do ey? The joke is he ended up winning

Well after that we all went to eat Korean. One of Mr Blacks students sunny also came down for the night. We decided we were going to drink then go to the fashion club where i expected to do some mc stuff. We had a bottle of vodka, small bottle of coke juice and 2 bottles of beer. I hate vodka by the way. Any way we first started off playing mahjong for drinks but it was going too slow so we did black jack, baccarat, high card 5 card poker then 3 card. Sunny got a Flush and we decided if any one got a flush well all do 2 shots which was half a glass, but sunny suddenly said it was 2 glasses each lol. At this point people were already tipsy and sunny who seemed like a quiet gentle fellow started getting quite aggressive. He also rigged the 3 card poker so Mr Black had to drink the remaining vodka straight and kept topping his drink up.

Rachel then gave a coaching session and gave her best advice for tilt control which was, if they raise you when your on tilt get your magic stone ball and throw it at their face lol. After losing 2 top ups advising Mr blacks students what to do with their hands in a cash game, we thought its time to set off. Sunny made it clear Mr black would have to sexually please him if he didn't get him a , and these were hes exact words 'a bitch that night.'

All was good and i was sober enough to mc and not fall off the stage and it was a good party. But then Sunny's inner beast came out. He was acting as if something had happened and started death gripping us trying to drag us off. I tried ignoring him as i was on stage mc'ing but he was pretty strong for a little skinny guy. He also kept doing it to Jade and Mr black. It was funny as he did it to random people he thought was them as well. Rachel started getting a bit upset so i had to try and calm him down. I first asked Mr Black to sort out his student and give him a spanking or something but he just gazed into the air and smiled. Then it happened he must of triggered something and luckily it wasn't too violent but i started nipple twisting him every time he gave me the death grip. I also got him to drink more so he would relax as well. It was funny as he actually kept beating me in rock paper scissors so i had to do something. Since we were drinking out of a can and he needed to be calmed down what i did was pretend to drink each time i lost but not actually drink anything. Soon enough he was on the verge of collapse so he lost his death grip powers and tried grabbing Mr blacks genitals every so often.

Well we got home safely and tucked into bed to get some rest for today's 100 dollar rebuy madness. I finished on the bubble again losing a big hand with ace jack suited. But the pokerstars lounge was actually closing today as they are relocating to the Macao side which is a bummer, so we played a few tournaments after. They gave us till 2 AM to organise and play whatever tournaments we wanted. We played 3 more tournaments after the 100 rebuy. One was a 500 freeze out which i also bubbled in 3rd place. Then 2 more 100 rebuy full of madness tournaments. The 1st one Mr Black and Jade came first the 2nd Jade Came 1st which was cool. We ended up with Jack Nicholson Riki, Texas and the 3 of us. Was funny as just us doing a 100 rebuy the pot was over 4000 and we paid 1st and 2nd.

Also i did the stupidest thing as i was phased out from this worn out week. I wanted to raise a pot. The blinds are 25 50 and it was raised to 100 but for some reason i said raise to 80 and threw in a 100 chip which counts as a call and waisted a chance to build a pot for my aces. I think i did this because i suddenly thought i was playing a 10 20 cash game for some odd reason.

Well any way My crazy weekend has worn me out and my face and body need rest and rejuvenation. Ill upload photos and vids later so you can check out the craziness first hand!

The Headache that wouldn't go away

Man after 3 nights of not really sleeping I've got the video done to a level in time. It's going to get more work done to it, but its cool for now.

I played basketball last night and i think i always seem to get what i think is called Exercises Headaches combined with the headache i already had from no sleep and staring at a computer so long. On top of that i didn't eat as i rushed to the bball courts after the freeroll so last night i was half dead. My head was POUNDING, i had an ass cramp and it hurt to look at the screen. BUT i got it DONE! ill upload it for you to see.

When it comes to headaches i am a little girl, i get so paranoid and have always had this fear of having a tumor or some crazy shit in my brain when i get really bad migraines. It's so annoying that i get them playing basketball and after they get worse and worse and sometimes carry on to the next day. I first thought it was because i was getting sweat in my eyes but i prevented that and it still happens. I read about it last night and it says might be exercises headaches. That sucks.

I'm also not keen on pills like pain killers and stuff so I'm against using them. It's for a number of reasons, mostly because i heard it stays in your system for a long time and the more you take it the more you depend on it which makes you need bigger dosages after a while. Last night though i would of killed for a painkiller but there wasn't any around.

Mr Black suggested we take a walk. We were hoping to find comebuy open at 3 in the morning but unfortunately it was closed and we ended up at 7/11. We were queuing up and this manly looking women was next to me and SUDDENLY she shouted some crazy stuff at the cashier. And they started arguing and at that point my head felt like it was going to blow up.

So we got back home and my headache was worse. I thought id rest a little but as soon as i lay down I seriously felt like i was dying. So i gave up on taking a rest.

Any way i worked relentlessly through the early hours of which was now morning and was getting things finalised 5 minutes before i had to leave to the tournament.

My headache was still pretty bad but had calmed down a little, i had that hungry kinda sickly feeling in my stomach you, well i normally get when i don't sleep and was feeling drowsy. I got to the tournament and was a bit late but only lost a few hundred. I was experimenting and played without looking at my hands. It worked, in fact i tripled up. Then i just felt so lazy and started doing stupid stuff which lead me to losing. I should of tried to stay alert but it just didn't happen.

I have this thing about giving change, i find it gives me bad luck. When i play home games i always get bitched at for refusing to give change. But come to think of it its true. I only started playing bad and losing after i had to buy all the 25 chips for the chip raise! PROOF lol

any way I'm going to just chill and catch some early z's. I need my rest so i will be alert for the tournament tomorrow. We are entering the 150 k guarantee tournament which starts at 2 in the afternoon. Pray for some GOT RICE victory!

Its a good thing I'm used to putting myself in situations where i have to work under a lot of pressure. Some times people chasing a goal, especially in my type of situation have brief moments where they could have possible doubts, start to miss all their family and friends or just start to feel scared. It's normal for anyone, no matter how small, or large that goal is. And if you can answer the questions that come to mind at that moment, you are going to succeed.

But when your going for gold these type of questions can wait. If you stray off too much or too long then you have to wait longer! Everyone misses something they sacrifice during their journey, but that's character building and this is how you force yourself to grow. Even someone like me has a soft spot for home I MISS MY DOG! but i just try to keep myself busy and continue being constructive so suki isn't without me for nothing. And when i get back i can get her whatever treats she likes. It's the same principle even if your around friends, you just have to miss a few nights out. If they are real friends they'll understand and once your done you can really have some fun. That's why the friends i have maybe few but are like family and it makes it even harder now im so far away. But i have all their support and that keeps me going and that's what is going to drive me to SUCCCCCEEEEEDDDDD!!!!!

Go for whatever you want and take the bull by the horns. The harder you hit the bigger the result. And don't go into war with a blunt sword! Don't rob yourself from taking a bow, you are the designer and creator of your show, and realise your the only one with the real power to destroy it. It's in YOUR HANDS!

Sleep is for the weak!

Well its been a crazy few sleepless nights.I managed to do the characters and an image with them for the GOT RICE crew stuff. Ill upload them so you can check it out. Sunday i actually played basketball and even though i was knackered afterwards i still worked through the night. It was also partly because i had a tournament at like 5 in the morning, it was on sapdeclub for the 5 k guarantee but i got my aces busted first hand to jack queen. Totally sucked!

I then entered a tournament for the 20 dollar freeroll but there was 580 something people so i entered for the chance to get quite a few spoy points but since it was only 20 dollar i went ALL IN first three hands. 4 6, j 4 and a 7. I won all 3 and there was at least 2 callers for each of them so i started playing properly. I managed to stay top 5 all throughout the tournament bluffing and catching a few people. BUT THEN! well there was only 29 people left and i was 3rd. I got ace king SUITED it looked so beautiful and people kept putting small stacks all in with a huge range, anything with an ace. I was going to put a small stack all in but then someone with about 3/4 of my stack raised to 10 000 i thought for a while then i pushed him All in. At the moment i thought maybe i should of just left it. But then he calls! He had a pair of 10's. I'm a bit worried but then a king comes on the flop straight away. there is also 2 clubs but i have spades. Then an ACE comes giving me two pair but its a club. I'm happy but that soon changes after i glimpse at his tens and find out HE HAS A CLUB but i think its OK, a club isn't going to come but of course IT DOES!. I'm gutted and i try to survive but i go out 19th! SO shameful i didn't make final table after staying top 5 all through out the game. And it was a long game which started between 6 and 7 in the morning i think. I even fell asleep at one point while the break was on and missed a couple of hands. The thing is i can't sit idly and do nothing even though i am 3rd that's a mistake most people do and it ends up taking longer then they thought to final table because the small stacks keep surviving and you end up final table with a small stack. BUT i probably should have left it since he had 3/4 of my stack.

Also yesterday i had the live 100 dollar rebuy at pokerstars. I actually did really well except one mistake i made. I was also lucky enough to be put on a calm table at the beginning and not a crazy rebuy table that Mr black always seems to be on ( he actually makes that happen) And i managed to bluff every single pot and dodge bullets every time. I didn't even have a rebuy and i didn't pay to enter either as i won a ticket from a free roll. I only did an add on which i didn't really have to do but everyone else did so i thought why not? so final table I start of one of the big stacks and so did Mr black. The guy who i will call the bounty hunter also made the final table with one of the big stacks but not the biggest at that point.

I call him the bounty hunter because he always wants to take out the thieves on the table and the bullies and his main targets always seem to be me and mr black for some reason. Unfortunately for him he was the only one who did a rebuy on our first table with me. well 4 rebuys all because he went all in with me when i actually hand the best hand.

So on the final table Mr black Kept trying to take out the small stacks but they kept on lucking out. So the table lasted a while and the blinds were going up mega fast. Now heres what i did wrong. At this point 3 people went out and there was 7 left. There was a girl who was super tight and there was the bounty hunter between us along with jack Nicholson and Philippe. Philippe and the tight girl were small and big blind. I needed to take their blinds. Lucky for me i got a pair of 10's. I think it was partly because every one folded to a small stacks all in which was 5000, i thought i was playing safe with only 2 people left to go out with both me and Mr black on the table, bounty hunter said he wasn't calling any of the all ins even folding ace king, because i was thinking about what i wrote last time which was just mid raise if they re raise all in you can fold and when bounty hunter said on the other table when you raise small you have a big hand so i mid raised to 6000. i then realised that was stupid because i only had 9000 left. I should of gone all in! They all would of folded. Basically Bounty hunter called! The flop was Small cards and a jack, 1 OVER! The next stupid thing was donate 3000 and of course he went all in. I folded because i figured Mr black would take everyone out. But i ended up in an all in with Mr black and The bounty hunter. I had queen 6 suited Mr black had 8's and the Bounty hunter had queen king. I Hit 2 pair so i survived but Mr black lost and the bounty hunter covered him. I was small stuck once i got in the money so i went all in with 5's which was my lucky number but i ran into kings and went out at 5th place. Not too bad i suppose Got 750 dollars which covered the Got rice crews buyings, rebuys and add ons leaving us with 50 dollars lol. But Still it was a GOT RICE victory lol. ONE MISTAKE!!!!!!!! its all it takes.

Happy Valentines

Happy valentines to all the ladies out there. It was a quiet day in for me but I'm absolutely knackered, i think i have insomnia this always happens when i keep brainstorming ideas if I'm working on projects. And when I'm asleep i feel like i haven't slept because my dreams are so intense.

I really haven't played much online poker in the last couple of weeks so my spadeclub rank has gone from 108 to 880 something which still isn't too bad since there is over 5000 people i think or more. well there is almost 6000 VIP people so there is probably a lot more altogether. This is because i been working on the designs for all of the projects I'm doing.

You saw the video i done for the Asian Poker Training now I'm trying to work on all the other stuff. I made cool business cards. I'm trying to get the image right for the GOT RICE CREW.

But for now i was just going to talk about how i think i might change my late game tournament play. I have won 3 live freerolls into the 30k guarantee at pokerstars and i bubbled every time and also came 7th in the 100k guarantee live tourney which i won a seat for in an online freeroll. These were all caused mostly from getting on to the final table with a short stack hoping the others will knock each other out.

So now I have started to experiment in the 100 rebuy madness tourneys. What i do now is accumulate chips at the beginning going into 3 or 4 way all ins with anything. People may think your a donkey but hopefully if all goes well you are a donkey with tons of chips at that point. Of course i wouldn't do this in a freezeout. This also gives you a rep for later, so if you move all in they think its always weak hands. Once you have won 4 - 6 times your original stack you can calm down. Its important you don't bleed so it doesn't mean you turn into a tight ass but just means play your button, the cut and also your blinds by stealing. But be careful don't lose your head in the madness and go all in with rubbish on the button because you don't know what the blinds have, just bet enough so if they raise you all in you can fold.This is the case if they have also got a big stack. And when there is 2 tables left its always good to keep trying to take out the small stacks with even small suited connectors and avoid playing against the bigger stacks. Hopefully at this point as well people would avoid raising your blind and just in case they do just keep pushing them all in with anything if they are small stacks. If i decide not to be too aggressive i always want to at least have 15 blinds so if i don't then i go all in whenever i can steal or there is good value.

So that's the outline of my game plan at the moment. Unfortunately the last couple of tournaments have shown i am one unlucky son of a female dog (b***h). I just kept losing flips lol. And i was always winning pre flop. I got Queens 3 times in a row kept getting jacks, Ace king SUITED you name it i lost with it lately.

Well i have been told the more you play the more the statistics get leveled out. So hopefully ill keep getting bad beats until the red dragon then win every single flip! YEAH that's the PLAN!

O i just came first in a 30 k qualifier on spadeclub Was against a good player heads up. I had like 30 or 40 thousand something chips and she had 120 thousand something i think and i managed to win. Was a fun heads up at the end. By the way my spadeclub ID is Prettyboy lol.

News Report + Funny story

So things are still moving smoothly. I have just finished the intro for the APT (Asian Poker Training) videos. I had to basically do it twice which is so long since i think I'm doing things the long way. I'm completely self taught in design which is one of my other talents. But i think i always do things lets say in a special way instead on conventional ways lol. But anyhow ill upload it so you can check it out.

Things are still looking promising in my music stuff on top of everything.

The weather has gotten nice and sunny so i was able to drag jade out for a jog. Its quite pleasant as there is a free mini track and field where we can train. Not mini like a mini golf course just not full size. Shes aiming to lose a stone in 2 weeks so no baking cookies or brownies which isn't good for me as she makes the best brownies!

Its quite cool as well in Macao as they have these outdoor gym type playgrounds everywhere, its quite funny. Although the old folk round here are more active then the young ens so they tend to hog the machines. That reminds me of a funny story.

When we used to stay at hotel royal there was a park in front of it with the gym stuff and a seating area. And it was surrounded by flower beds, Now one day we were walking back to the hotel and it was starting to get dark not completely and we saw the bushes move slightly. Next i noticed a newspaper on the floor, then i was SHOCKED! I was with jade and after the silence we burst out laughing. It was an old man squatted taking a shit!. He heard us and it startled him, as he was still in the process he almost fell into it. After we stopped laughing and got far away enough we became puzzled because about a meter more of a walk from where he was squatted was a public toilet! Well maybe he was really slow and really needed to go.

It's getting Gooood

Well like i said things will always get put right if you hang in and right now that's just whats happening. It could be because of the magic balls the cat lead us to or maybe the cat we ended up buying the next day that moves by itself, but what ever it is its bringing us a lot of sweetness to our journey.

I forgot to write about the results of the 30 k game on spade club but i got in the money on that out of almost 3000 people and the night before i cashed in on a 50 k tournament on pokerstars with 2 - 3 thousand runners as well.

Jade has been doing pretty well in her tournaments and we have poker times which is the top Asian poker magazine interested in sponsoring her. They are going to put her on the front cover of their magazine in march which is really cool. Also i think all of us might be getting sponsored into charity events by being representatives for them.

Thanks to My good friend in HK who introduced me to the promoter to try and get me a job mcing after he heard what happened to me, iv'e met up with the promoter again in Macao. I also found out after doing my research that the parties they do which is banana is actually one of, or basically is the biggest party promotional team. I went to fashion club to meet him and showed him what i could do for 15 minutes for the owner of the club to see and its all good, they were happy and I'm going to definitely get work. the first one might be on 20Th of this month in fashion club so come and support me.

And to top it all off, i finally found a really good basketball court so close to my apartment and people to play with. And even though my body is aching like mad this morning i feel goooood.

So always keep your head high and stay positive and maybe buy yourself a magic ball.

Got Rice Crew Wins at Pokerstars lounge

Well we got successful results today, Jade and Mr Black came 1st and 2nd in the Sunday re buy madness.This was held at the poker stars lounge Macao which was all qualified from a free roll, so that was cool. I unfortunately went out 12th place. I had a good start but then had a really bad run and eventually was forced to go all in with jack 2. I had hope on the flop giving me 2 pairs with it, but the guy goes all in and has ace king and of course hits an ace then a king lol.

I did win this tournament last time with Mr black 2nd ill post some photos up from that day.

Today i tripled up with Jacks hitting a set at the beginning and won a few pots from bluffing. But because i was bluffing before getting queens kings and 10's i always got called pre flop with ace or king with raggedy kickers. This is normally ok except they kept hitting the over pair killing me. I also had King Jack and hit trip Jacks on the flop with an ace and a flush draw. The guy calls my massive raise and a diamond comes, I'm scared so i check but he checks. I cant believe it he called my massive raise with the ace. Knowing this I'm ready to go all in on the next card but what comes on the river?? an ACE giving him a bigger house. So he raises big, i fold showing my jack and shows me the ace i already know he has.

So after that Heel (not sure if that's the spelling) gives me the mic and asks me to mc lol I of course love the mic and away i go. I was just being my crazy self and they enjoyed it. I liked it as i got to commentate the victory of Jade and Mr black. In the end they actually said they'd split the 2nd and 3rd prize with the other guy left because we are cool and nice and we GOT RICE!. Also a little smurf came out of no where and gave me a cool pokerstars.net shirt. lol now i can be one of these guys who like to where stuff with pokerstars on it to pretend they are sponsored lol. Ill wear it a couple of times because its actually a cool shirt but after that you cheapies better sponsor me into some tournaments before i start wearing it any more lol. You ll see the potential. I also don't think they sell these ones its a special shirt !!

So after the victory we treated ourselves to some nice Korean bbq enough for 4 when there is only 3 of us and went of to buy our lucky cat. If you didn't know since our last win we decided to buy a lucky cat for our trophy cabinet each time we win a tournament or if 2 of us cash. So of we go but they suddenly don't sell them in our super market any more. So we journey on...... and on..... and on..... and on...... till we reach the venetian. We found this stone place where they have magical stones and we believed the cat led us here. So we got a magic stone of successful business and 3 balls with magic powers for each of us. I cant tell you the powers or you ll know our strength's, so hush hush. Mr black almost made us play Caribbean stud but i was like noooooo we want to stay on a high! so he said ok but then he got me agreeing when he said maybe the cat led us here to play one hand. Being really superstitious i said lets go! but then we decided nah since it was a long walk back lol.

We didn't get our cat tonight but well get it tomorrow and now i must shower before playing my 30 k tournament on spade club, ill update you on that later!

My famous bad beat story

I was talking to someone today in the pokerstars room in Grand Waldo and i started telling the story of my crazy bad beats, so i thought id tell all who haven't heard it yet.You are going to read this and think I'm ling that's how bad it was, but i kid you NOT this really did happen. This is a story Ive told so many times and that's the only thing i got out of it, a conversation.

So i go to the Wynn like normal and I'm grinding for hours, I'm up like 7000 hk doallrs so i had about 9000 something in total because i started with 2000. I'm on the 10 20 table so fishy things are expected to happen sometimes when i have a set and they call and hit a draw. So i hopefully will catch them with the nuts and get paaaaiiiidddd.

Now this all happened within 1 HOUR. I have 8 9 of spades, I'm on button so i raised 100 pre flop. I get 2 callers. The flop is 10, Jack and Queen OF SPADES giving me a STRAIGHT FLUSH. First guy bets 200 the next guy raises to 600 i don't want to scare them away so i call and the first guy folds. At this point i am hoping the guy has an ace high flush. Then the next card is another SPADE. The guy raises 2000 so at this point i know this guy definitely has a king or ace of spades .I reckon the guy wont run away and he almost covers my all in so its a nice double up and id be on my way home. So I'm all in. Guy SNAP calls. He shows Ace 9 his ace is a spade giving him a flush, but unfortunately for him i have a straight flush. I'm pretty happy but then what has to rain on my parade on the river??????? a KING OF SPADES!!!!!! giving him a ROYAL FLUSH!!.

I am on tilt instantly so the next hand i get i have king 6 off suit and raise 400 pre flop. i get 2 callers then the 3rd moves all in i CALL of course lol and others fold. Lucky for me the guy has ACES and donks get paid off in the Wynn so i laugh. And just like any other hand with king 6 i flop a full house. At this point i calm down a little and i get paid off with a couple of sets, as everyone thought i was a donkey from that one hand and completely forgetting i just lost with a straight flush.

It couldn't of been more then 45 minutes later i get a pair of 10's. I'm also not doing too bad i have almost 7000 in total and i was hoping i hit a set with these, get paid then go home. I raise 150 pre flop i get 5 callers believe it or not and I'm last to act again. Flop comes 10 10 king rainbow giving me QUADS, I'm over the moon. The first guy who was the one who lost to my king six, raises to 1000, next 2 people fold 4th goes all in for 2100 something next guy folds and I'm all in over the top. The 1st guy thinks about it and says ' i believe he has something', pointing to the first guy all in 'but i know your bluffing, you always bluff' Not realising even with king 6 i wasn't bluffing because i CALLED on tilt and didn't actually bluff since. He thought he'd probably lose 2100 but win the side pot with me which was 8000 something total as he had a couple of hundred less then me, so he CALLS. First guy all in shows ace queen drawing for a straight and the other guy who lost to me earlier shows ace king. So he has a pair of kings. I'm happy enough to show my quad tens and the guy must of been high because he shouts 'I KNEW IT' lol, I'm not sure which book tells you having quads is a bluff and to call if you think they have it. I start putting my jacket on but then the turn is a king, I stop, start sweating, take a big gulp and start to think no way, no way this isn't going to happen. It suddenly switches to slow motion as if my entire poker courier flashed before my eyes, ITS A KING!!!!!!! giving him bigger quads!!! i cant believe it and i want to choke the guy for saying once more 'I knew it, that's why i called' as if he made an amazing call.

I didn't make any donkey double up after that in fact i threw away another 2000. But don't worry i did make back my money and 2000 dollars profit later, after 19 hours of grinding! i was completely dead!. I didn't stay there to make my money, i stayed because after them crazy bad beats in a place where they didn't do bad beat jackpots or even give away something minuscule i was scared id get hit by a car on the way home.

so thats my TRUE story, so next time you have a bad beat ask yourselves, was it as bad as mine?

Over all i like playing on spade club but you do get off players that crush you by lucking out with bad calls. Spadeclub if you didn't know is a poker subscription site where you play freerolls with a chance to win prizes up to 30 k. They also have 3 stages to win tickets and money to Belagio tournaments which is cool. But the reason i play mostly is to try to win the yearly spoy ranking contest. To get ranking points you have to get on the final table to any of the cash freerolls or the Belagio or Caribbean tournaments.

Today i tried the 500 sit and go's because i wanted to use the points i win to enter the 2Nd stage of the weekly Belagio tournament which is 2,700. Last time i entered it was so annoying there was 380 something people so 38 people get tickets to the 3rd and final stage but i went out at like 40th or something with jacks to king 4 pre flop. Was horrible because the start of the tournament was 4 a m for me and so i wasted hours and hours with no sleep. i cant remember exactly but i think i finished at like 7 or 8 in the morning and didn't get much sleep because i had a live tournament at 3. 30 that day.

So i played 2 500 point sit and gos and usually they are actually pretty good players so i don't know why i got these 2 bad callers which lucked out on me which were in similar situations.
In both i was chip leader and the other guy was just under me, one was a couple of hundred less then me and the other was like 80 less. In both there was like 5 of us left and 3 get paid. Now for one of them this guy would raise 300 throughout the game if he had aces or kings and less with queens or lower. so pre flop he raises 300 so i immediately knew what he had and no one else was in the pot so i called wth queen 5 suited. the flop comes qD 5H 5C. so i flop a house. i knew this guy would raise so i checked. he raised 200 so could see he was scared of the 5 any way, so i just raised to 600. the guy thought about it for a while and i thought i should of bet smaller but then he re raises me to 1500. So I'm obviously all in and I'm thinking did i get it wrong does he have set queens giving him a bigger house.This guy should know all through this sit and go when i bet big i have everyone beaten it was obvious. HE CALLS! I'm a little scared but then just as i thought he has kings. I know poker so i didn't celebrate yet but still what comes on the turn A KING! and if it wasn't bad enough what comes on the river A KING!. Its times like this that i question myself, is poker really a game of skill? But to be honest in the long run where the stats do make sense good play triumphs you just got to hope that the stats hold out in bigger games lol. That's why i prefer playing multi tables on cash games online, because it levels the playing field so you win more then getting bad beats. If bad beats were always happening then there wouldn't be a bad beat jackpot in certain places because the prize wouldn't be worth it. And i know everyone including myself sometimes thinks, the bad beats only happen to me!

For the other 500 sit and go like i said it was all pretty much the same situation accept pre flop the guy just calls the blind and I'm big blind with ace 3. Just like the other game i flop a house. The guy raises quite large like 700. I know hes probably just trying to take the pot maximum an ace with a good kicker so I'm in good shape to go all in. HE CALLS! shows and shows a pair of jacks. The turn card comes its a 5 I'm good the river card comes I CRY! its a JACK! giving him a bigger house. Terrible.

I just wonder sometimes do they realise its not worth doing that up against a stack that will take you out, the only stack that can take you out so close to getting paid.EVEN with kings on a flop like we had. Sigh... i don't know

No time to sleep in HK

Well i did say itll be back to work on poker from today but as it turns out Hussein doesn't like being a lonely traveller and dragged me and Jade with him to HK. I'm not complaining since he paid for our tickets and it turned out to be quite productive.

The selling point Hussein had for Jade was he'd take us to watch Bolt which is the new animated movie about a deranged dog who thinks hes got super powers. Unfortunately every cinema was fully booked for the day. So since we were on a mission to see it, we actually ended up literally waiting with no sleep till the next morning to buy tickets for the first showing. We only just managed to successfully complete our mission even though we were queuing up an hour before opening times which was 9 in the morning. And even though we were right at the front because there were no other seats left surprisingly enough the film was pretty good.

So what did we do in between all this? Well what other way is there to kill time then to go on the lash and as jade was saying all night get wankerred. I'm not usually much of a drinker any more but since my friend was here and to be honest Ive never had much chance over the years to have a drink with him, we got smashed. My friends from London who live in HK were the ones who actually took us to this pretty good club in TST. They ordered 2 bottles of Black label and mixed it in one jug with water and another jug with green tea. I don't know whether it weakens the alcohol effect but it does completely weaken the taste and they claim it is still strong and gets you drunk before you even realise it. Well i did get jolly but not drunk but then again i am a bit of a heavy weight when i seriously drink. My friend also introduced me to a guy who does a lot of events so i could try and see if i could get work from him. I just point blank said let me just take the mic even though the other mc is doing a heavy job and ill show you my skills. Even though i drank quite a bit when it comes down to doing my shit i get it done where ever, when ever and in what ever circumstance. So i did my thing and the guy was on it straight away which was cool So hopefully i could start making a bit of money doing some mcing at clubs. On top of that the guy i think who brought the mc and dj possibly was interested in doing stuff and even help me get music produced and stuff so the night ended up being pretty productive.

After that we drank more in a restaurant and ate loads of food. After 6 though there wern't any clubs or anything to kill time so we did a couple of things that might be good pointers for anyone who is too cool to sleep in a bed. We didn't find much point in getting a hotel or anything since we wouldn't be sleeping in it long and if we did fall asleep we would miss the chance to watch Bolt. SO firstly 24 hour MC Donald's. Its perfect It may not be bed and breakfast but you can buy a breakfast or just a coffee and if you want sleep with your he'd perched on the table. We got bored so we went to explore after an hour and if you want to see the sites at the same time as getting a cotch spot for cheap the tram is for you!. Also after we got the tickets for Bolt at 9 for the showing at 11 45 we sat on the really comfortable sofas in the Hagendaz and al fell asleep for 2 hours without buying anything and with no disturbance. So that's a hot spot , o the building is the shopping mall in kowloon tong.

So anyways I'm going to catch some serious zz's then tomorrow i have to start work on stuff for the poker training stuff.

So its the year of the Ox and hopefully that will be the year to remember! Year of the ox reminds me of my really close friend Ray , Miss you mannnn lol I haven't played much poker since last Saturday because my good old school friend came to visit me from Beijing. Took him round Macao even though everything was closed, which it will be for a week and played hours of Rock Band on our newly bought Xbox 360. Man we were rocking it out until like 3 in the morning and we got no complaints! i love it!

Unfortunately we walked all around Macao but didn't find one dragon dance! and since everything was closed we ended up going into two small dingy restaurants as we called them and got ripped off lol. we ate out of a dish in one of them which was smaller then the palm of my hand, the picture in the menu was bigger!. Luckily they had big bottles of tsing tao for 10 mop each and played a a drinking game which got us shouting pretty loud, like we didn't stick out enough as it was in the restaurant we were in. The other one we went to was just plain bad i always finish food and even though the portions were almost as small as the last place i didn't want to finish it.

Along the way to fisherman's wharf we went through he sands where Hussein had a go on roulette. He won the first go on the computer making 100 dollars to 360 but then put 500 on a table game and lost. During that Jade kept telling me to borrow 100 dollars because she had a feeling. And according to her all the numbers that came on the table at each roulette table we past, she would of chosen. I believed her a little as i know her lucky number is 4 and most of the Numbers were 4. We worked out if she put all her winnings each time on the numbers she would of won 8 million something hk dollars. So seeing as i had to make up for making her miss out on that money she 'definatley' was going to win i had a go at some carnival type game they had set up at fisherman's wharf to win a red Ox teddy bear.

They had a dice game set up and initially its meant to be the game lucky and you win 3 times you choose a prize but i asked can i play liar and they laughed and said of course of course like i had gotten myself into a trap and it was easy money for them. What they don't know is i play this for drinking games a lot in London and i don't like to down cups of Chivas and tea each time i lose so I'm pretty good. I am also a Poker pro now so my poker face when im losing is pretty useful in this game. So the first round i was ling and caught her out when she tried ling back with the number i said. 2Nd round was really good she said a number 5 6's i had no 6 and i took a risk and said 6 6's because i new she had 5 6's and then i said go on make my day and say 7 6's as if really i wanted her to open by saying the opposite, but i really did want her to say 7 6's and she said it... BAM! i opened with no 6's at all and won the 2nd round. now the 3rd round she should of seen it coming but she was pretty frustrated and they all were flabbergasted by what was happening and she opened when i only said 5 5's and of course there were 5 5's and i won the teddy bear for Jade. Shes happy now!

So i got time to just have a bit of fun while my friend came through my neck of the woods and relax a bit but now i got to get back to working hard. I also came up with a good idea i want to do Which is start a poker training school here. DON'T NICK my idea well you wont know how i am going to do it any way and you don't have Mr black so its OK. So keep track of that if your interested in improving your game.

The worst part of being treated badly is you feel sorry for the person.

The worst part of having your money stolen is you gave it to them with trust. The sad thing is in your heart you would do it again since they said they needed your help.

You could cry if you were left to feed yourself and the one you carry on your back after everything was stripped from you, or you could choose to stay strong and look for a solution.

If you have been used and trust has been diminished with someone close to you it doesn't mean you lose faith in others, they may be the ones the universe sent to make it right.

Loved ones may be in trouble and you may blame yourself and accuse yourself of being selfish for fighting. You may think an alternative path may fix things over time, but time cant be turned back and you may never know of this burden they could be carrying.

You could have all the reasons to hate a person who thought they had the power to crush your dreams, but really its you who would let hate consume you and stop your dreams from becoming a reality.

Life could get to a point where you think everyone was right and maybe everything was just an excuse to escape the real world. But wont you feel the same in any circumstance if it wasn't going right? PROBLEMS come into any scenario or the word wouldn't exist.

Good things happen and bad things happen that's life. Whats great about life is it keeps going on. You must cherish every moment even the worst and believe in yourself before the dream, as your the one who carries it. Be faithful to it and don't let 1 sad person or even 2 change anything or they have succeeded. EVERYTHING happens for a REASON.

No matter what you think you are always in control of every situation.

Who wants fish fingers?

Well when you put the words Macau and poker in the same sentence you will find the word fish also finds its way in. This is the reason a lot of players including myself fly in from around the world to get a big catch. Unfortunately these fish occasionally bite, because macau is a gamble gamble place where superstition is at its highest and funnily enough lucky charms seem to come through more often then not.

The other night we went back to the place i vowed never to set foot into again, the Grand Lisboa because the Wynn is overly packed these days and i couldn't be arsed to wait a couple of hours for a table. You ask why i feel this way? its simple too many bad beats by being outnumbered by super fishes. One scenario topped the whole thing. I have king 2 flop is 2 2 10 and there are 2 spades giving them a flush draw 1 guy raises next guys all in the following guy all in i push my all in over them all as i know them well and i know all three are on flush draws which they were. My stack is huge like almost 8000 and max buy in is 2000 and the guy after me who i thought was good and conservative calls me almost covering my whole stack. Also take in consideration this guy only put 20 dollars in pre flop so hes not committed to call his whole stack which was 7000 something. So i figured he must have a 2 as well but i think my king kicker would own but in fact he has a pair of 10's! with a 7 kicker or something so of course im over the moon but then what happens next ?? a 10 ! comes on the river!

So any way im back at this place and as the saying goes fishes don't stop swimming Well i just made that up, and i sat on the table with cash signs covering my eyes and a smile on my face because out of 10 people 6 were major fishes and the biggest one in macau was also sat next to me who i will talk about. So this guy is indian you might of heard of him if you were in macau because he somehow miraculously won the apt qualifier giving him a flight, hotel, ticket and also 39k in cash on top i think. This is the same guy who calls on the turn with ace 4 his whole stack when someone had pair queens and pushes all in. The board being queen 7 10 3 rainbow and hits an ace on the river. So when i was at the cash game all i could see was him losing pots every time luckin out on a few but mostly losing calling big raises with ace high jack high. So there was 2 times i put him all in and lost. 1st time the board was Ace 2 jack and turn came 6 he called my flop bet and pre flop bet which were both 300 i had ace king i then put him all in on turn he calls he shows 8 2 and then a 2 comes on the river. A tear slowly drops from one of my eyes.The next time im all in with him i have aces preflop all in and he has 4 q of hearts and he gets a flush. So in the end i just couldn't beat this amazing poker pro.

So basically i didnt have fish for dinner once again at the grand lisboa so next time its back to the wynn. The wynn also have a lot of fishes but there is a good mix of good players so it balances out. which is why i think its so crowded there now. And also its red in theme so it brings in the superstitious ones lol which is all! So good luck on the felts and remember fishes do get lucky so if your in macau remember your rabbits foot peace!

The Beggining of my Cinderella story

So where does it begin? I could start from when i was born but it might not be for the faint hearted, so ill start from last September when i decided to sell all my belongings and make a new start to a promising future. To be honest i didn't have poker as my initial drive but only as a money maker on the side. I first dropped everything to come to Macao to push my music in Asia alongside ayi jihu a Chinese r n b singer trying to make it. But come December money i made in poker was borrowed by my boss then claimed to be his, so lost. On top of that i gave all the rest of my money to my boss at the start for rent and living which he kept. Then he didn't pay 2 months rent which led to us getting in a lot of trouble and forced to move out of the apartment. Also even though i wasn't staying with him anymore he decided not to return the money i gave him at the beginning which was enough for me and Rachel.

I have never been a quitter and i always grow stronger and i believe the universe will sort all this stuff out in the long wrong. I may not do things how I've planned and this road isn't going to be easy due to my circumstances but I've ended up starting all over again accept this time i have no money and i have gone poker pro. So follow the journey of my very own Cinderella story Fortunately for me i have a good friend who has helped me out with my living problem and we have also formed an asian poker crew called Got Rice. This crew is made up of me (C-red) Rachel (Jade) and Jason (Mr Black). We want to be the first cool asian poker crew , hip, fresh and brand new. Also i have quit the music label I'm on and trying to do it legally but to those reading this who follow my music, don't worry it doesn't mean I've quit rapping it just means i have to take the long way round and finance myself taking this road.

So i intend to build a roll from nothing doing freerolls at pokerstars in grand waldo. I have won quite a few already which shows promise but no major pay out yet. Also i am aiming in the long run to try to win spadeclubs' spoy contest which is won by accumulating the most spoy ranking points in a space of a year for a big reward. Ill keep you all updated on results once the website is up.

Never give up hope and things always happen for a reason so don't cloud your vision with tears and stay strong and focused.
